Introduction to JB Dry Ice Blasting
My name is Jamie Baron and I was in the Armed Forces for 24 years. Upon leaving the Army, I wanted to find a new passion – something I could focus my energy into and creating something which I could grow over time. During my career in the Army, I grew as a person and it made me hold high standards, become disciplined and have patience and I wanted to put these skills to good use in civilian life to create this business.
The idea of dry ice blasting is not a new one but an ever evolving one – something which is much more developed in the US and is becoming more widely used here in the UK.
Dry ice cleaning – also known as dry ice blasting uses specialised equipment to blow small, rice-sized crystals of frozen CO2 through pressurised air. The intensity of these small projectiles is so strong that it blasts off contaminants or residue on industrial equipment and surfaces. The list of uses for dry ice blasting is endless, with a few named below.

What Our Clients Say
Hear from those who have experienced our exceptional services.
The whole experience with Jamie at JB Dry Ice blasting was a fantastic one. Jamie was quick to respond to any questions I had. Reliable and gave enough notice for the days he would carry out the work. Having a 400 flint cottage, it was good to have Jamie working carefully and respecting the building. It wasn’t at all messy and the photos speak for themselves. By using the dry ice Jamie has uncovered the character of the beams and doors in our cottage. Little details that tell a story and show off the wood to its potential. We also had an emergency job that Jamie promptly came out and fixed. The product is fantastic and the service excellent. I would highly recommend.

I was very impressed with how Jamie carried works out on our road sweeper. He removed all the stickers from it for resale and cleaned it thoroughly with the ice machine. The machine is over 10 years old and has not been that clean since we bought it, the ice removed every bit of debris. Highly recommend.

I had an excellent experience with JB Dry Ice Blasting. Jamies service is great with a good attention to detail and a strong emphasis of not rushing the job. Jamie cleaned my defender’s underbody before I had it resealed and he got it back to its original form – see pics.
